How To Spend A Weekend In Brighton…

Brighton is becoming one of my favourite seaside getaways. Being around an hour travel from London by train, it makes it the perfect place to escape for a weekend. I recently went to Brighton for a birthday surprise planned by my boyfriend and it was so lovely and relaxing. We had been to Brighton before and so knew a few places to visit…. which mostly involved eating, relaxing and strolling along the beautiful pebbled beach. So, I thought I would write about my top picks from spending a weekend in Brighton. These I think you will like… Continue reading How To Spend A Weekend In Brighton…

How To Budget

I feel like I am an expert at budgeting now since changing my career path a few years ago. I have always been a savvy person but until recently I have not had to be so cautious of what I spend. Now, I have to budget a LOT so that I don’t run out of money each month. I don’t have a massive pay check to live on. Hopefully this will improve in the future but until then I thought I would share my tips on how to spend smart and make sure you know where you are at with how much you have left in the bank each month. June 2017 Skincare Routine

It’s been a couple of months since I posted my last skincare routine and so I thought I would give you a little update on products I’ve been loving and incorporating into my morning and evening routine. For me, skincare is a form of mindfulness and it is the perfect time of day where I can really have some me time and indulge in a little pampering. I love feeling fresh faced and when I apply my skincare I just feel a million times better. Continue reading June 2017 Skincare Routine

Embrace It

In recent weeks, I’ve been so lazy to do much with my hair. Partly because of the lovely hot sunny days we have had recently and partly because some days I just don’t want to have the hassle of being a girl. Sometimes getting ready in the mornings can be a lengthy process and embracing your natural qualities can be the thing that we all need to do once in a while. Continue reading Embrace It

SourcedBox Review May 2017

The May SourcedBox definitely won the beauty awards and it also didn’t disappoint on taste. I love this healthy subscription service and if you are new to SourcedBox I would not hesitate to recommend it. I much prefer swapping a sugary snack to one that will keep my energy levels sustained. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the odd treat but with SourcedBox I feel like the goodies are treats and I always look forward to trying new flavour combinations I would not I chosen myself. I have been surprised by a few of this month’s items (in a good way). Subscription boxes are great ways to try new things and this is one subscription I get so excited about. See my thoughts below… Continue reading SourcedBox Review May 2017

What I Eat In A Day #2

It’s time for another “What I eat in a day” post and this time it’s a bit different as I went out for lunch so you can see what I eat when I’m with friends. I hope you enjoy this post! I always love being nosey and seeing what people eat. It also gives me ideas for snacks and meals. You can see my first one of these blogs here to see what I ate on a typical day whilst at home and out violin teaching. For now, let’s get back to this one! Continue reading What I Eat In A Day #2

Instagram… Life Behind The Lens

When we look at an Instagram snap we immediately see all the good in someone else’s presented life. The truth is it’s not all that rosy. Behind your favourite Instagrammer are problems similar to your own but they just don’t choose to share that with you… so it all looks perfect. Life behind the lens can be very different. People quite rightly want to present their life in a positive light. Even the top bloggers have things going on in their lives. Continue reading Instagram… Life Behind The Lens

I Love Neutrals…. Outfit Post

It’s been a while since I did my last outfit post. Since my Spring Vibes outfit post, life and and other blogging shenanigans have got in the way. I feel like all the Bank Holidays have made it hard to catch up each week too and with the lack of time on Mondays and lots of visits away at weekends, shooting outfit photos has become tricky. However… here is a little treat for you! I hope you like this neutral toned outfit. I love neutrals and wanted to celebrate them with this smart but casual look. Continue reading I Love Neutrals…. Summer Goals

I always like reading other people’s blogs about their goals and how they are planning to achieve them. I feel like there are so many things swirling around in my head at the moment and I feel writing them down on “paper” will really help me to achieve them! I’m not saying I will achieve all of these ideas but it’s at least something to aspire to and it helps me focus on what I need to do to make them happen. I hope you enjoy reading these types of posts as much as I do… Continue reading Summer Goals
