Healthy but indulgent milkshake

I have recently been looking into healthier food products but I still have a sweet tooth. So I thought I would create a tasty but healthy milk shake that really is worth trying! If you haven’t tried CocoBella spread you really have too. It is a coconut and chocolate flavoured spread with no nasty additives and it is made from natural ingredients. It also tastes delish. Rude Health also do a great range of products and their hazelnut milk is no exception. It also has no added sugar which surprisingly a lot of soya milk products contain! So I combined the two and got a yummy afternoon treat….

Recipe (makes 1 milkshake)

2 tbsp CocoBella spread

1 glass hazelnut milk (Rude Health do a really good one with no added sugar!)

1 pitted medjool date

Sprinkle of cacao nibs for decoration

 

 

Method

  • Whizz up all the ingredients except the cacao nibs in a blender. Make sure you have not left the stone in the medjool date!
  • Serve in your favourite glass.
  • Sprinkle with cacao nibs.
